2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

When you create an account, you must provide information that is accurate and current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. WhatsLive.tv cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

3. User-Generated Content & Liability

WhatsLive.tv is a community platform. Users can submit event information, stream URLs, and link to external images (e.g., Thumbnails, Avatars, Banners).

• Liability for Content: Pursuant to § 7 para. 1 of the German Telemedia Act (TMG), we are responsible for our own content. However, pursuant to §§ 8 to 10 TMG, we are not obligated to proactively monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to search for circumstances indicating illegal activity.
• User Responsibility & Copyright: Users are strictly and solely responsible for the links and images they provide. By uploading or linking an image/stream, you warrant that you hold the necessary rights and that the content does not violate copyrights, personal rights, or laws.
• Prohibited Conduct: You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, including promoting illegal content, harassment, hate speech, or providing fraudulent information.
• Right to Remove & Ban: Upon becoming aware of legal violations or breaches of our guidelines, we will remove such content immediately. We reserve the right to instantly delete content and permanently ban user accounts without prior notice.

4. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms or infringe on third-party rights.

Data Collection & Legal Basis

We collect and process your data based on the legal grounds provided in Art. 6 GDPR:

• Account & Profile Data: Email address, username, and profile links. Processed for contract fulfillment and providing our service (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
• Server Log Files: The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in server log files (IP address, browser type, time of request). This data is technically necessary for us to display our website and ensure stability and security (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
• User Activity: Events created and likes given. Based on our legitimate interest to offer an interactive platform (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

External Images & Third-Party Links

Our platform relies heavily on user-generated visual content. Images (Thumbnails, Banners, Avatars) are frequently loaded directly from external URLs provided by our users (e.g., Twitch, Imgur).

• When you browse our site, your browser may establish a direct connection to these external third-party servers to display the images.
• Consequently, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to these third parties.
• We have no control over the data processing of these external providers. This integration occurs on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a functional, community-driven platform (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
